DAP calls on the new Japanese Prime Minister, Morihiro Hosokawa, who heads a seven-party coalition toppling the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) from power after 38 years of uniterrupted rule, to pave the way for a new era of relations woth Asian nations by declaring that Japan would atone for the sec crimes of the Japanese Imperialist Army by paying compensation to the Japanese Imperialist Army ‘comfort women’ nd their families.
