One of the issues I would be asking for a full explanation in my meeting with Bank Pertanian Malaysia (BPM) Board of Directors or its top management which I had requested in my letter o the BPM Chairman, Datuk Abu Bakar Rautin, will be the misuse of the funds under the Special Credit Scheme for Agriculture (SPKP) managed by the BOM. In the past few months, there had been ceaseless attacks from the MCA and Gerakan accusing the DAP for being responsible for the so-called ’62 Islamisation measures’ in Kelantan in its first 12 months of office. It is significant that after the retention of Datuk Kamaruzzaman Shariff as MPPP President on January, the Gerakan President, Datuk Dr.Lim Keng Yaik, came to Penang to repeat his public call to the State Government that a politicial should replace Kamaruzzaman Shariff as MPPP President.
