This meeting of officials from three DAP branches in Petaling Jaya is to form a DAP Petaling Jaya Liaison Committee to co – ordinate branch activities and party work in the Petaling Jaya area. Since elections on July 8, two new branches have been formed, namely PJ Old Town Branch and SEA Park Branch. Another branch needs to be established so that there can be closer party – people relationship, and this is in PJ New Town and this will be the first task of the PJ DAP Liaison Committee. In the last general elections, the first edition of 10,000 copies of ‘Time Bombs in Malaysia’ was sold out in the short space of about less than three weeks. We have now published the second edition of ‘Time Bombs in Malaysia’ which is 410 pages instead of the 350 pages of the first edition. The second edition contains a few more parliamentary speeches, more illustrations and a Special Commentary on the 1978 general elections. I announced this morning that every DAP MP will be assigned ministries of portforlios for them to specialise in and to become knowledgeable, and better still authoritative, in their respective areas of assignment.
