The MCA and Gerakan Ministers must give satisfactory explanation why they are opposed to the new Education Bill being made public so that Malaysians have ample time of at least two months to study it before a Parliamentary debate and voting.

The MCA and Gerakan leaders have been assuring Malaysian’s and in particular the Chinese community, that they have nothing to fear or worry about the new Education Bill. The Examinations Syndicate should release the results of the re-marking of the 1991 SPM Bahasa Malaysia paper latest by end of April and not four months later in mid-July to allow successful students to join Form Six classes with minimal disruptions.

The Examinations Syndicate should release the results of the re-marking of the 1991 SPM Bahasa Malaysia paper latest by end of April and not four months later in mid-July to allow successful students to join Form Six classes with minimal disruptions.

A spokesman of the Examinations Syndicate said that candidates who have appealedd for a re-marking of the 1991 SPM Bahasa Malaysia paper would get their results at the latest by July 15, 1992. DAP supports the establishment of a Chinese Independent Secondary School in Pahang

DAP supports the establishment of a Chinese Independent Secondary School in Pahang.

There are at present 75 Chinese primary schools in Pahang, with an average of 26,000 pupils who complete their Standard Six every year. In the sixties, Pahang had eight Chinese Secondary Schools, but they were all converted into government schools.
