Further to my circular to you dated 2nd July 1972 on the convening of a Special Delegates’ Congress to ratify the June 18 decision of the Central Executive Committee to purge the party of all destructive and disruptive elements, and to end all acts of indiscipline, this is to inform you of the credentials arrangements for the Congress:

The revised programme for the unvisited constituencies are as follows:

Oct. 21, 22 : Penang Utara

Dec. 3 : Bukit Raja
Dec. 9 : Jelutong

The DAP has, over the last one year, demonstrated what a strong and dedicated Opposition Party in Parliament can do for the people.

For over 20 years, the 900,000 people in the 400-odd new villages in Malaysia had been neglected. They were starved of development funds, had no adequate health, social and educational facilities, no job opportunities for their youths, and were generally left to decay and die.
