Eleven Chinese Primary schools and 28 Tamil primary schools were closed down in the past 10 years

I have just received an answer to a parliamentary question which I asked in the June/July meeting of Parliament and find that in the past 10 years, 11 Chinese primary schools and 28 Tamil primary schools were closed down because of shortage of pupils. All Chinese and Tamil primary school pupils who pass the UPSR national school Bahasa Malaysia paper should be exempted from Remove Class and promoted directly to From One if they get passes in other subjects

All Chinese and Tamil primary school pupils who pass the UPSR national school Bahasa Malaysia paper should be exempted from Remove Class and promoted directly to From One if they get passes in other subjects

The Education Ministry has announced that Chinese and Tamil primary school Std.IV pupils can now opt to sit for the Bahasa Malaysia paper offered in the national schools (SK/SRK) in the Primary School Achievement Test (UPSR).
