Samy Vellu should resign as MIC President and Cabinet Minister because in the past 20 years, while MIC leaders have become rich and enjoyed the good thing in life, the ordinary Indians have become the most neglected and backward community in Malaysia

And the Penang State Gerakan have not been able to give a single good reason why the State Government should not accept my proposal that the Penang State Assembly set a new tradition in the appointment of Senators-not only for Penang but for the whole of Malaysia. All Chinese and Tamil primary school pupils who pass the UPSR national school Bahasa Malaysia paper should be exempted from Remove Class and promoted directly to From One if they get passes in other subjects

The Education Ministry has announced that Chinese and Tamil primary school Std.IV pupils can now opt to sit for the Bahasa Malaysia paper offered in the national schools (SK/SRK) in the Primary School Achievement Test (UPSR).
