The polling dates for Sabah state general elections are most likely to fall on weekend of February 5 and 6 , 1994

This is because it would be most unsuitable to hold the general elections campaign the polling from February 9 , 1994 onwards as February 9 id the Chineses New Year ‘ s Eve , February 10 and 11 the Chinese New Year and from February 12 , Awal Ramadhan when Puasa Month begins.
