Anwar should set an example to discuss the land acquisition abuses and injustices in the various states instead of trying to score political points by making emotional and baseless outburst against the Opposition

In the past few days, both the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister have been touring the states as if general election is around the corner, holding ‘illegal’ public rallies to woo support of the people for the Barisan Nasional when the Opposition are banned from holding public rallies. It must now be clear to the Malaysian public why the MCA President, Datuk Dr. Ling Liong Sik could not produce any documentary proof to substantiate the MCA allegation that the Kelantan State Government had acquired 1,000 acres of 500 Chinese smallholders at Tanah Putih, Gua Musang under the Land Acquisition Act without compensation although I had repeatedly extended my deadline for him.
